Eddie Bradley-Feary, a past member of the Woking Branch, died on 22 October 2011 at the age of 89. His memorial service was held at St Andrews Church, Woking on 4 November 2011.

Eddie joined the RAF in June 1944 and trained as a Wireless Operator and Air Gunner and served as follows:

No9(O)AFU, Penrhos on Ansons from Jun Aug 1944

No10 Radio School,Carew Cheriton on Ansons and Oxford in Sep 1944

No131(C)OTU at Killadeas on Sunderlands from Oct Dec 1944

No4(C)OTU/No 3 Radar CC, Alness

No302 FTU Oban on Sunderlands

No 205 Squadron Koggala, Ceylon on Air Sea Rescue support of long-range bombers from India from June 1945 to November 1947 as Warrant Officer aircrew.

Promoted Flying Officer and served at ETPS Farnborough from January 1948 July 1949, after which he left the RAF.
