Ronald 'Bram' Bramley - 14/08/12 09:17 AM

Just received the sad news that ‘Bram’ Bramley has passed away.

He was chairman of the active Notts/Derbys Branch ACA for many years and was a regular attendee at the national AGMs. He was a leading light in the Air Gunners Association and was involved in both the RBL and RAFA. He was single-handedly responsible for ensuring that a RAF Ensign flew at Alrewas and took responsibility for replacing it when it became tatty.

He was regularly involved with the Yorkshire Air Museum (home of the ACA Archive) because of his Air Gunners Association activity.

He was President of the 22 Sqn Association

He worked assiduously for RAF charities.
