WO1 Paul Vincent Bowe - 02/12/13 11:30 AM

Message from John Boylan of the Eire Branch:

Warrant Officer (1) Paul Vincent Bowe died, following a short illness, on 20/11/2013.

Paul served from 1939 (at barely 18 years of age) to 1945. He trained as a pilot at 9 EFTS Ansty, 2 Air School Rondfontein, 27 Air School S.A., 10 F.L.S. and 107 O.T.U(T). He was attached to Transport Command and India Command where he flew D.C.3s in India and Burma. For his service he held the Burma Star and the Defence Medal.

Two of his brothers also served during the war, but were not members of ACA so far as I know.

May he Rest In Peace.
