Hi all, our Dutch foundation namens WO2GO is studying Lancaster R5552 from No 166 Sqd which crashed on December 20th 1943, killing all seven crew. We want to make them an information board annex Memorial and write out their story in one of our books. We have gathered some information and made contact with several relatives.
Who can help us? These were the brave men on board:

Sgt. Leslie Allan Henson, airgunner (RAF)
Flt.Sgt. Kenneth Bert Renelt, pilot (RAF)
Sgt. Ernest Charles Toms, engineer (RAF)
Flt.Sgt. James William Thompson, navigator (RAF)
Flt.Sgt. Alexander Bernard Sheddan, bommer (RNZAF)
Flt.Sgt. John Francis Moore, w.op/airgunner (RAAF)
Flt.Sgt. David Bernard, airgunner (RCAF)

regards
Kees

Kees,
If it's any help, this was the first and only operation carried out with 166sqdn by this crew.
