I am looking for a picture of the aircrew below or any contact with a relative of these airmen. Several months ago, I contacted the Squadron’s historian, but unfortunately he cannot help me on this point. I am working on a booklet for the French Underground Museum of Bourges, a town right in the centre of France and the main city close to the village where F/Lt Cyril V. French is buried. I have in hands books and testimonies’ excerpts as well as the escape and evasion reports of Yarwood, Bulmer and Buchanan. I thank you beforehand for your assistance.

Warmest regards from France,

Stirling MkIII (EH906 - XY-T) of No.90 Squadron. Hit by German flak of Avord airfield during the night 4-5 March 1944. Stirling crashed St-Hilaire-de-Gondilly, France (French administrative department of Cher)

F/Lt French – RAF – Killed
Sgt Cashmore – RAF – POW
F/O Yarwood – RAF - EVD
F/Sgt Hoffberg – RCAF – POW
F/Sgt Farrington – RAF – POW
F/Sgt Buchanan – RAAF - EVD
F/Sgt Bulmer – RAF - EVD

PS I have read somewhere that Don Farrington was a member of your association. But I don’t know if he is still with us.
