We recently added a short book by one of our members Quentin Snow. He has provided his book "A Letter from Snowy" to be placed as a download from the RAAF Museum web site.

It is a story about FLTLT Bert Wright DFC (RAF) an English pilot and Snowy's skipper for almost three years in RAF Bomber Command. After Bert's death in 1993, his daughters, Valerie and Alison, were at a loss to understand their father's wartime experiences. Like thousands of others, Bert never spoke much of his exploits, so they appealed to Snowy to enlighten them. This book is his reply. The book now forms part of his existing profile on the Gold Coast Air Crew Association web pages that is part of the RAAF Museum site.

If you wish to access Snowy's 60-page booklet as a pdf file, go to http://www.raaf.gov.au/raafmuseum/aircrewaca/profiles/pr93-snow.htm

We hope you enjoy it!
