Subject: Testimony Films- 'Bomber Boys: Revealed' Channel 5 Thursday 10th November 2011, 8pm

Hello,

I hope you’re well.  I work as a researcher for Testimony Films; we have currently been working on a programme for Channel 5 about Bomber Command during the War.

My colleagues Clair Titley, Rosie Bristowe, Nick Maddocks and myself have been researching this programme and we wanted to send an email to all those who had very kindly helped us by putting us in contact with RAF Bomber Command Veterans. 

We had some great response throughout the research stage and are indebted to everyone who got back in touch and provided us with help, advise and contacts. 

‘Bomber Boys: Revealed’ will be aired on Thursday the 10th November on Channel 5 at 8pm and we hope that you do manage to watch the programme as we are very proud of it and of being able to honour the men who served with Bomber Command during the War. 

Please do let all of your members know about the programme and thank them if they did get in touch with us; we heard so many powerful and moving stories and it’s always a great shame that we aren’t able to feature more of them in the programme.

Testimony Films is run by noted social historian Dr Steve Humphries who has made several critically acclaimed and award winning documentaries over the last 15 years, namely Veterans: Last Survivors of the Great War (BBC1), Ground Zero (Channel 4). The 50s and 60s in Living Colour (ITV1),  and Britain’s Love Story (ITV1).
